NES FILMS IS A LOS ANGELES BASED PRODUCTION COMPANY FOUNDED BY NATALIE SHIRINIAN.
Natalie Shirinian is a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and journalist with work featured in Vogue, Paper, Huffington Post and Coveteur. She began her career in film as a SAG actress appearing in television, film, and commercials. Her debut documentary short film, INTERIOR MOTIVES captured the connection between fashion and design through the perspectives of industry leaders like Michele Lamy, Maria Cornejo, Tommy Hilfiger, amongst other influencers and icons. Interior Motives has been featured in Variety, Surface, T Magazine, Architectural Digest, Hollywood Reporter, AnOther and Vogue.
On the festival circuit, the film has won “Best Short Documentary,” at the 2019 Berlin Short Film Festival, and the 2018 IFS Los Angeles Film Festival, received the “Award of Excellence” from the Best In Shorts Competition, was Semi - Finalist at the DUMBO Film Festival, and was accepted into the Oscar qualifying FLICKERS Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Natalie is also the founder of NES, an acclaimed creative communications agency, and is the creator/curator of Femme on Feast, a digital magazine documenting her adventures as a queer femme feasting on food and travel.
YEREVAN is Natalie’s first narrative film inspired by her life. It follows a first-generation Armenian American LGBTQ+ 30 YO woman, conflicted by her sexuality and the traditions and expectations of her culture.
NES FILMS is currently in production with Yerevan the film, and is set to be released in 2021.
